PROJECT OVERVIEW
This is a joint project between LUESA Solid Waste and Park and Rec. It will consist of a twelve-acre park that includes a special one and a half acre recycling area. When the Monroe Road Center opens, solid waste will relocate the un-staffed recycling center at McAlpine Creek Park to the Monroe Road location after construction is complete. The McAlpine location will then close.
The project is currently under construction and is expected to be completed by June 2026.
